Centara Hotels & Resorts is set for a transformational year in 2025, expanding its global presence with new openings, brand innovations, and extensive renovations. Following a successful 2024, where revenue grew 12% to THB 11.16 billion ($333.1 million) and net profit surged 43%, the group is moving closer to its goal of becoming one of the world’s top 100 hotel operators by 2027.
The group plans to open nine new hotels, including its first properties in Nepal and Indonesia, alongside major expansions in Vietnam and Thailand. Centara is also investing in guest experience enhancements, launching a new mobile app and AI chatbot to simplify bookings and personalize stays.
Committed to sustainability, Centara aims for net zero emissions by 2050, with ongoing green initiatives, including increased solar energy use and a focus on water conservation. Recognized as Thailand’s first GSTC-certified hotel group, Centara continues to lead in sustainable hospitality.

Key highlights for 2025 include the launch of Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives in April, expanding its Maldivian portfolio to four distinct brands. The newly introduced Centara Collection continues to grow, adding Machchafushi Island Resort & Spa Maldives and Roukh Kiri Khao Yai. Renovations are also underway at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin and Krabi, with the latter being rebranded as Centara Reserve Krabi, only the second property under this luxury concept.
